Who I Am and What’s Up

What’s Up

News

I’ve been working on a one-woman show for the last six months or so, and I’m not going to lie: It’s kind of saved my (creative) life. I had a baby in 2021, which puts work on hold, but writing has allowed me to stay true to myself in this one, tiny way. I’m currently looking for places to develop and workshop it, even if it’s on a living room couch. I’m also looking for a director.

Most of last year, I was lucky enough to travel around the US with my family for my husband’s work. I’m really missing the lazy, hot, Southwestern crunch of Tucson and the misty, blackberry-laden, caffeinated Seattle these days. Other favorites were Minneapolis, Chicago, and my hometown of Boston.

Who I am

Actor/Narrator

I’m an actor, (now) writer and narrator living in New York City. I’ve kept busy between shows and during the pandemic (and pregnancy) by writing theatre and recording audiobooks. If you want more info on that, please visit my Voicework page.

Recent stage work includes OthelloRomeo and JulietHamlet (three productions, actually), A Midsummer Night’s DreamHenry VI, Part 3 and Measure for Measure. Before New York, I lived in the gorgeous Bay Area for a while, where I worked with American Conservatory Theater, Berkeley Rep, Magic Theatre, Aurora Theatre, Center Rep, Shotgun Players, Central Works and others.

Besides performing, I enjoy learning this crazy “mom” thing, fitness, ukulele, graphic design, visiting museums, watching as much good television as I can, and exploring every inch of this gorgeous, insane city.
